Cidrux Field Notes: Smarter Schematics in Your Browser

Engineering work is full of small frictions that add up: moving components one by one, chasing invisible connection points, re‑building the same project structure for every client. Cidrux’s schematic workbench is designed to remove those frictions so you can think about systems, not software.
On the canvas, every port now has a clear identity. Fluid connections and electrical connections are colour‑coded and type‑checked, so you only make physically meaningful links. Grey connects to grey, blue connects to blue. If a wire doesn’t belong between two points, the interface makes that obvious before you ever run a simulation.
When you adjust a design, you don’t need to fight the layout. You can lasso a group of components and drag an entire sub‑circuit as a unit, preserving relative positions and wiring. Rotating a component doesn’t turn into a game of “reconnect the ports” either—connection points rotate with the device and wires snap back to the right places.
Around the canvas, the rest of the software now feels cohesive. The workbench, login, and account pages share the same typography, colour palette, and spacing. It sounds cosmetic, but in practice it means you always know where to look and what to click, whether you’re editing a schematic or managing your projects.
Taken together, these changes move Cidrux closer to being a place you can live in for serious work: draw systems, rearrange ideas, and trust that the visual representation actually reflects the physics you care about.
